APEC Summit protests in the Philippines

The Philippine government banned protests against the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, but both Filipino and foreign activists protested anyway. They called APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) a “tool for imperialism” and held massive protests in Manila all week against foreign exploitation in the Philippines.
